I’m going to see these guys tonight—my first Wilco show—with Nick Lowe serving as the appetizer and no, I didn’t sleep at all last night since every inhale sounded like “Willcoooo” and every exhale was a very distinct “Loooowwwwe”. Yes, I live alone.
I don’t expect them to dig into Sky Blue Sky, but that hasn’t stopped me from making a list of songs that I’d like to hear (including this SBS bonus track) and songs that I think they’ll play, comparing the two and wondering why anyone ever agrees to hang out with me.
