David Hockney, A Bigger Splash (1967)
This is quite possibly my favorite painting ever.  The bizarre part is that I read the title somewhere before I’d even seen the canvas but knew from that italicized sentence fragment that it was going to mean something to me.
Probably because if I had to summarize my wants and dreams and goals for the next decade, I’d use those three words.
That, and getting Alan Rickman’s phone number.
