Pink Floyd, circa 1966 I’ve listened to a tremendous amount of solo Syd Barrett (third from the left) this morning.  I’ve also been uncharacteristically productive. I’m starting to think that my brain needs a certain level of instability or off-kilterness in order to function.  If it holds true,  I’ll be switching to a steady diet of Barrett for breakfast, Roky Erickson with lunch, and a mid-afternoon snack of Arthur Lee.  I’ll also probably be institutionalized by Thursday.
