Dear Krista
I am replying to you partly as a measure of courtesy.
I would like to notify you that I will do everything in my power to prevent you from writing a book about Elvis Costello.
I would point out, in the few interviews Elvis has given, the copyright rests with the publisher of those interviews (i.e. IPC Magazines, etc.) If you plunder from these articles you will be infringing their copyright, and I shall vigorously assist the publishers of these articles in nailing you and your publishing company to the wall.
Thank you for enclosing your address. If this matter goes any further I shall pop in for a visit when I am next in New York.
Kind regards
JAKE RIVIERA

I love you, Internet.
