I absolutely adore Mr. Johns’ absurd little drawings, probably because they delight the same part of my brain that feeds on Michael Palin scripts and Robyn Hitchcock lyrics.  He’s recently released a book, Serious Drawings, and if you order one from his website, he’ll sign it and do an original drawing on the title page.

Yes, I just bought one.  No, I can’t afford to eat dinner for the rest of the week.
