Despite a summer’s worth of hype and clever marketing, Tiny Plastic Godzilla vs. The Curious Boxer Puppy fell short, both at the box office and to this critic’s expectations.  The characters were one dimensional, the story was predictable, and the ending was more than a little disappointing, especially the part where Tiny Plastic Godzilla had to be pulled from the guest room toilet by the omniscient—but unseen—narrator.

Still it was better than Cloverfield.
