If you’ve ever considered yourself a fan of the Clash, the Sex Pistols, or any of their sneering, safety pinned heirs, you can thank Mr. Johnson and the rest of the Feelgoods for bridging the gap between pub rock and punk. Without them, where would we be? Probably wearing denim shirts tucked into denim jeans and wondering if it was possible to overdose on earnestness.
