Jelisa Castrodale is a freelance writer who has covered sports, technology and the poppiest of pop culture on both sides of the Atlantic. She writes a weekly column for NBCSports.com and does the "Downtown Living" ink for the Winston-Salem Journal.

She is also a recent Jeopardy! champion who should probably stop mentioning that in polite conversation.
