I’m back home and it’s time for Crappy ACL Festival Photos! The next three shots—all equally terrible—are from Sunday’s concerts.  The rain was coming down so hard on Saturday, I didn’t even pull my point ‘n’ shoot out of my backpack.

Anyway, this is vocalist/guitarist Harry McVeigh and drummer Jack Lawrence-Brown from West London’s White Lies.  I really dug these guys and their Editors-meets-Echo & The Bunnymen style minor-key moping.  If you’re a fan of either of those bands, I suggest you give a listen to their debut To Lose My Life, an album which soundtracked most of my trip across the country yesterday.  Except, you know, for the time in the Atlanta airport when I had Accelerate on endless repeat.
