Jeez, Woman.
OK, I just read the Acknowledgments page for Karin Slaughter’s Broken and in the final paragraph she suggests “if you really want to get upset, investigoogle Jessie Gelsinger.”
Apparently, Broken is the name of the book and the state of her spellchecker since she MISSPELLED HIS NAME. His brief life story seems to have inspired part of her manuscript, but she couldn’t be troubled to “investigoogle” to see how many vowels were supposed to be in the name ‘Jesse’.
Admittedly, though, I was more upset by the fact that she used the word “investigoogle”. Also that I initially misspelled the word misspelled. Touché, life. Touché.
